Verso la mia nuova vita tra facebook,lista della valigia e cucina giapponese...

Ciao mondo!:) Sono giorni strani questi, in cui mi sento come sospesa tra la mia vita di sempre qui in Italia e l'esperienza che a breve comincerà per me in un nuovo paese, in una nuova famiglia, calata in contesto culturale e linguistico completamente differente rispetto a quello cui sono abituata. Da un lato mi assale un senso di vaga nostalgia, di inquietudine, dall'altro una grande adrenalina ed un crescente entusiasmo all'idea di ciò che mi attende...Un nuovo anno che per me sarà finalmente colmo di novità, esperienze, amicizie, e soprattutto sfide! Per cominciare a tastare il terreno irlandese da lontano, mi sono iscritta a un gruppo di facebook che fa al caso mio, si chiama "Au pair in Cork". Grazie a questo gruppo ho potuto cominciare a contattare ragazze che stanno già vivendo questa esperienza alla pari nella città in cui andrò a stare io, o comunuque nei pressi di Cork. In particolare è una la ragazza che sto sentendo più assiduamente: è tedesca, originaria della Baviera. Si chiama Johanna( è mia omonima in qualche modo :D) ed è molto dolce e simpatica, abbiamo tante cose in comune! Lo shopping, la lettura, la curiosità, l'apertura verso nuovi orizzonti. Certo, lei è più amante delle discoteche rispetto a me, ma non sarà un problema per me esplorare la vita notturna irlandese! Poi ne ho scovata un'altra italiana,e insomma siamo d'accordo per incontrarci quando saremo là...Spero che formeremo un bel gruppetto, così l'impiego del tempo libero che tanto mi preoccupava non sarà affatto un problema in loro compagnia :) Ci sono così tante cose da sperimentare, così tante persone da conoscere!Non vedo proprio l'ora :)  Avrò una vita molto impegnata e questo mi fa piacere: ho attraversato delle fasi di grande passività e apatia nella mia vita e preferisco di gran lunga uno stile di vita più attivo e soddisfacente. Domani mi avventurerò alla ricerca dei regali di Natale e dell'occorrente per il mio soggiorno in Irlanda: la lista della valigia è in fase di lavorazione, si allunga sempre più e all'appello mancano ancora troppe cose!Sei mesi non sono certo pochi, e voglio essere perfettamente attrezzata per fronteggiarli al meglio tenendo conto di qualsiasi necessità e del clima piuttosto inclemente dell'Isola Verde. Per il resto stasera ho passato una serata meravigliosa in un ristorante giapponese meraviglioso situato in zona Porta Ticinese...E sono sazia e contenta, era da moltissimo che desideravo tornare a mangiare sushi,sashimi e via discorrendo...Soprattutto a causa dei video postati su youtube da Marco Togni, fotografo professionista appassionato della terra del Sol Levante e della cucina giapponese...Incredibile quanto i video che lo mostrano intento a mangiare in numerosi ristoranti e sushi bar giapponesi instillino negli osservatori un'incredibile smania di cibo nipponico!*-* Detto questo vi saluto, sperando che la prossima volta che scriverò qualcosa la mia valigia si trovi ad un punto più avanzato rispetto ad ora :) A presto!

Towards my new life, among facebook,suitcase list and Japanese cuisine 

Hello world :) I'm feeling weird these days, I feel as if i were suspended between my habitual life here in Italy and the experience that soon will  begin for me in a new country,in a new family, inserted in a cultural context and a language completely different from what I'm used to. On the one hand I am nostalgic and anxious, on the other hand i'm enthusiastic and full of adrenaline for what awaits me... The new year will be filled with new experiences, friendships , and especially challenges! To investigate Ireland from afar, I joined a facebook group that is right for me, called "Au Pair in Cork." Thanks to this group I could begin to contact girls who are already doing this experience as au pair in the city where I will be staying, Cork, or near to it. In particular there's a girl that I'm making contact more frequently: she's German, originating from Bavaria. Her name is Johanna (she's my namesake in some way :D) and she's very sweet and nice, we have many things in common! Shopping, reading, curiosity, openness to new horizons. Sure, she's more fond of dancing than me, but it will not be a problem for me to explore the irish nightlife!;) Then I contacted another au pair, an Italian girl, and we agreed to meet when I get there ... I hope that we will arrange a little group, so the use of spare time I was so worried about won't be a problem thanks to their company :) There are so many things to experiment, so many people to know!I'm really looking forward to begin my irish adventure. :) I will have a very busy life and that makes me happy: I passed through great passivity and apathy stages in my life and i prefer a lifestyle more active and satisfying. Tomorrow I will venture in search of Christmas presents and of the necessary for my stay in Ireland: suitcase list is a work in progress, it becomes increasingly longer and there are still too many things to buy! Six months are surely not a few, and I want to be perfectly equipped to face them in the best way,considering any need and Green Island inclement weather and climate.For the rest,tonight I spent a wonderful evening in a fantastic Japanese restaurant situated in Porta Ticinese area ... And I'm sated and happy, it was so much I wanted to go back to eating sushi, sashimi and so on ... Especially because of the video posted on youtube by Marco Togni, professional photographer keen about the land of the Rising Sun and about Japanese cuisine ...Videos that show him occupied to eat in many restaurants and Japanese sushi bars instil in observer an incredible craving for Japanese food!*-* Having said that , I greet you, hoping that the next time I post something my suitcase is at a more advanced point than now :) See you soon!
