Una giornata splendida ed emozionante

N.B. Pay attention please:there are two version of this post, the first in italian, the following in english :)

I swear it!

The english version of this post:

A wonderful and exciting day

I'm back here, on my fresh blog :) Today was a wonderful day, one of those full of events, laughters and pure happiness and carefreeness ... One of those days in wich you come back home tired, but you don't care about it, because you're full of joy and enthusiasm :) Today three of my dear university mates have graduated and it was a little "how to graduate a second time" ... Everything  was as exciting as when it happened to me! Every step of the graduate-ritual is beautiful:  the wait mixed with anguish before presenting the thesis, the dreaded moment of the presentation, which then turns out to be simpler and more peaceful than we have thought, the celebrations post-graduate characterised by embarrassing photos and choirs, in which the glasses are raised to heaven, and all people drink a toast to the newly graduated, wishing her to live at least another thousand days as beautiful as the current one ... I still feel excited and happy, because when a person you care about reaches an important goal, you feel her same adrenaline, satisfaction and pride! I would like to have more often days as funny and pleasing as today :) Fortunately next week there are other two degrees of people very important to me, and I really want to enjoy to the full this festive and joyous period :) One unexpected thing of the day: trying to buy a bunch of flowers at an affordable price at the kiosk situated outside the university for my friends, I got ten yellow chrysanthemums ...I couldn't believe it!And the seller has sold them to me without any hesitation, he has cheated me with a nonchalance really disconcerting! Obviously when i realised on google images that  i had bought  burial service favourite flowers and not ten yellow daisies, i've immediately come back to the kiosk and i replace them with another kind of flowers. I'll never learn to distinguish daisies from chrysanthemums!>. < For the rest I also had the opportunity to talk with several people about my imminent  au pair experience in Cork, arousing the enthusiasm and curiosity in everyone ... I've heard very positive opinions on Ireland and irish people  from those who have visited the Green Island and this encourages me! "Cork is beautiful, I envy you!" "Irish people are very friendly and warm" are the most significant comments of the day. For what concern my mood awaiting the departure moment, is a mixture of excitement, anxiety, doubts and euphoria. I feel as if my soul were constantly on a roller coaster, there are mood swings inside of me ... I hope to find a balance as soon as possible and my partecipation to lots of degree parties in these days helps me a lot to relax and  distract ;)  Sometimes a huge anxiety due to absurd worries assailes me, such as "how will I organise my spare time when I'm with my family, in Cork? Should I preserve more time for myself, to not be too intrusive with my host family, or should i be very present  in their life, even when i'm off, when i'm not working, to show them my gratitude for their hospitality and openness , and to know them better, feeling totally part of the family? Rationally I know that the solution to this Hamlet-like doubt is in the middle and then in being able to conciliate this two spheres of time, in order to dedicate myself in equal measure both to myself and my host family ... However in concrete situations, it is not so easy to identify the best decision to take, the best way to behave . I also wrote an e-mail about my doubts and worries to Alessandra, the previous italian au pair of my Irish family, and she really rassured me: she told me that all this will come by itself, spontaneously, naturally, when I'll be there ... She gave me a really valuable advice, "Don't schedule or plan too much ... Just think to fully enjoy this wonderful experience" The bottom line is that since it will be a unique opportunity in my life, I have to think to take and use it in the most positive and productive way, dismissing  petty concerns which can inhibit me ... I know, however, that planning is the best tool to appease the anxiety xD Anyway, I decided to follow Alessandra' s suggestion ... Who cares about all this stupid worries? Only when I get there I'll find the answers I seek and I will understand how to behave, how to manage my spare time, how to live in Ireland. And I'd really like to make the most of this experience, by adopting a positive and optimistic approach ;) Sooo...Bye bye anxiety, anguish, restlessness! I'm going to have a calm attitude, determined and not catastrophic. A zen attitude. I swear it!
